		<description>My children have long graduated from the public education system. While my children were in school I did make an attempt to participate in their education.  However, no matter what they (teachers) say about wanting parents input, they don't.  They want the parents to be "gophers" and "coolie" labor and not a partner in educating the child. Maybe that's why parents were not mentioned?</description>
